QURES Quality Research and Support together with the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration is glad to announce the launch of the call for abstracts for the International Conference “Good practices and lessons learned in the evaluation of social policies. Social Inclusion, Social Innovation, Quality of Life and Public Health” organized under the framework of the COST Programme – COST ACTION 20112 – PROFEEDBACK (Grant Holder Institute: HÉTFA Research Institute, Hungary). The Conference will be held in Bucharest, Romania, on 16th of May, 2024.
The Conference aims to the create the opportunity for researchers, evaluation experts and civil servants to share ideas and examples of good practices and innovative methods used in evaluation in the areas of quality of life and social policies. Thus, the Conference maintains a balanced interest in both theoretical and applied research, with a particular interest in lessons learned and innovative research methods applied in evaluation. We especially welcome abstract submissions based on novel econometric techniques, original and extensive datasets, rigorous study designs, or important policy implications. The event is designed to allow time for a full presentation and discussion of each contribution. Doctoral students and young researchers are particularly encouraged to submit their papers.
The conference will be held in a face-to-face format. Presenters should attend the Conference in person, in Bucharest. Other participants may have the possibility to attend the sessions online, depending on the received requests. The official language of the Conference is English.
