🎤Keynote speakers🎤

💡Luca Koltai is the Research Director of the HÉTFA Research Institute and has a degree in Social Policy and European Studies. Throughout her career, she has gained valuable experience working at Budapest Esély, the National Institute for Family and Social Policy, and as a director of the Hungarian branch of Habitat for Humanity. As a researcher, her main focus has been on employment and social issues, including public work programmes, youth and people excluded from the labour market, social inclusion and the social economy.

💡Dr. Marijana Sumpor (marisumpor@yahoo.com) is an economist and expert in regional development, scenario and strategic planning, and policy evaluation with 29 years of professional experience as a researcher, consultant, university lecturer and executive trainer. She is the director of the consulting company Euro ekspertiza since 2019 and in her 2nd mandate in the City of Zagreb Assembly. Before she worked at the Institute of Economics, Zagreb (2001-2018), BNP-Dresdner Bank (Croatia) (1998-2000), and Croatian Ministry of Finance (1995-1998). She has co/authored over 60 scientific and professional publications and is editor in the open access Regional Studies, Regional Science (RSRS) journal (since 2014). Since 2015 Marijana coordinated the Croatian Evaluators Network (CEN), which is also part of the Western Balkan Evaluation Network (WBEN), and in March 2024 she became president of the newly established Croatian Evaluation Society.

💡Dr Eszter Kosa is a social worker and social policy expert who has been involved in various projects as a field worker, researcher and project manager. Eszter has worked in Hungary, in the Balkans and also in crisis areas like Armenia and Eastern-Ukraine. Her main interests are social inclusion, combating poverty (with special focus on child poverty), equal opportunities, human rights, civil society development and humanitarian aid. She settled in Malta in 2018, since then she has been working as a programme manager at Binda Consulting International contributing to projects focusing on women’s rights, youth integration and election observation.
