Meet Mihaela Iorgulescu-Aioanei, the Training School Manager of Profeedback!
Mihaela Iorgulescu-Aioanei has a PhD in political science, being the author of the doctoral thesis “Evaluation as a mechanism of change. Institutionalizing the evaluation as a tool for improving the operational programs within the Structural Instruments System in Romania”. Mihaela has more than 9 years of experience as an evaluation expert, being specialized in regional development, social inclusion and interventions for children. She was involved in evaluations of programmes co-funded by theEuropean Union (EU), pre-and post-accession to the EU and also international donors as World Bank, the EEA and Norwegian grants and UNICEF.
The PROFEEDBACK Action organizes Training Schools that provide researchers, especially early-career professionals, with focused training on critical areas in policy evaluation. Over four years, three training schools covered topics such as theory-based evaluations, quantitative and qualitative methods, and participatory approaches. These schools are a great opportunity for networking with peers and experts, gaining hands-on experience, and developing skills crucial for career growth. Participants learn advanced methodologies and work on practical case studies, shaping the future of public policy evaluation.
