Theory-based evaluation of Public Policies and Programmes

The training school is the first such initiative in the framework of the PROFEEDBACK COST Action, and it is prepared by the Working Group 1 “Theoretical concepts of evaluation”. It will focus on theory-based evaluation. Theory-based approaches to evaluation found growing attention in the last years in Europe, not least because of the support given by the European Commission. The training school aims at introducing the main concepts of theory-based evaluation and provide participants with a framework for planning and carrying out theory-based evaluations.
