TRAINING SCHOOL 4
Exploring contemporary evaluation methods – Evaluation approaches and methods in practice
The 4th Training School of the PROFEEDBACK COST Action offers an in-depth exploration of contemporary evaluation methods in public policy. Through a series of interactive sessions, participants will gain practical knowledge on key evaluation approaches, including realist evaluation and contribution analysis, as well as advanced quantitative and qualitative methods. Attendees will engage in hands-on exercises, apply various evaluation techniques, and analyze real-world case studies, enhancing their skills in evidence-based policymaking.
The Training School is organized by Working Groups 1, 2, and 3, focusing on theoretical evaluation concepts, quantitative methods, and qualitative and participatory approaches. Participants will also have the opportunity to take part in the 9th PROFEEDBACK Conference, where they can present posters and deepen their understanding of evaluation practices through peer discussions.
The 4th Training School will take place on June 16-20, 2025, at the HÉTFA Research Institute in Budapest, Hungary. Applications are open until March 10, 2025.
